Taylor and Britny’s story began on August 29, 2019, at their very first Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) meeting. Britny was serving as the Remember the Ribbon chair, leading initiatives on HIV and AIDS care for minorities. Taylor, spotting that only a handful of students were interested in the cause, took it as a challenge—and a sign. She jumped in, determined to help make it the best initiative yet. Before long, Britny invited Taylor to be her co-chair, and together they organized community events that not only made an impact but also sparked something neither of them could have planned for.

By March of 2020, the world had shut down. Stuck in Buies Creek, hours away from their families, Taylor and Britny turned an uncertain time into one of their sweetest seasons. What began as quarantine ended as something far more permanent—they made it official on August 14, 2020.

From then on, they were partners in every sense. They pushed through pharmacy school side by side, celebrated milestones together, and supported each other even during two years of long-distance. At their furthest, they were 1,000 miles apart, yet their bond never wavered. Finally, in 2024, the miles melted away when they reunited in Baltimore, Maryland.

Today, Taylor and Britny share a cozy apartment in Canton, where love and laughter fill the rooms—and their Bernedoodle, Micah, happily steals the spotlight. From classmates to co-chairs, from pandemic partners to lifelong companions, their journey has been one of resilience, joy, and a love that always finds its way home.
